Virginia Vaughn

There are no services or calling hours for Virginia Vaughn, 87, who died Friday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown. She was born February 15, 1922 in Youngstown, the daughter of Jeremiah and Mary (MacDonald) Vaughn, and she resided in this area all of her life. She was a 1940 graduate of Youngstown South High School and she worked as an assembler for the General Electric lamp plant for 45 years, retiring in the 1980's. She enjoyed traveling, walking and hiking, and she loved her family. She is survived by a nephew, Atty. Jack R. Vaughn of Youngstown and a niece, Nancy Bender of Knoxville, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers; Paul A., Samuel, and Raymond J. Vaughn.
