W. Paul Mills

AUSTINTOWN-W. Paul Mills, 73, passed away Saturday evening, July 13, 2019 at Omni West Assisted Living. Paul was born October 4, 1945 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a son of Woodrow Wilson and Mary Kathleen (O’Brien) Mills. He was an aid and Activities Director for various nursing homes in the area for 33 years, retiring in 2011. Paul was a 1964 graduate of Joseph Badger High School. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. Paul attended St. Joseph Parish in Austintown. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed casino trips and attending musical productions. Paul is survived by his brothers, Robert “Terry” (Jean) Mills and Gene “Fuzz” (Joyce Klabnik) Mills; his nieces, Tracey Mills, Barbara Mills, Melissa (Mark) Sydlowski and Rebekah Patton; his nephews, Bob (Amy) Mills and Christopher (Melissa) Mills and several great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Edward Mills and his sister-in-law, Nancy Mills; his beloved friend, Fred Davis; his nephews, Scott and Todd Mills and his twin infant sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, Austintown, OH 44515, at 11 a.m. Friday. Friends may call from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, prior to the Mass at the church.
