Warren Clark Watt passed away Saturday afternoon at Austinwoods Nursing Home. He was born November 17, 1925 in Youngstown a son of the late George Dewey and Elizabeth (Schingary) Watt. Warren retired in December 1988 from Blue Cross where he had worked in the maintenance department for 20 years. Prior to Blue Cross he had worked at Republic Steel as an electrical lineman for 15 years. He was a member of the Columbiana First Christian Church, and had served as a Deacon at Hillman Street Christian Church and Lynn Kirk Church of Christ. Warren served in the United States Navy during WWII, serving on the USS Gunason. He was a member of the USS Gunason Organization. In his spare time, Warren enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by four children: Dennis (Joyce) Watt, Linda (Ron) Betson, and Sandy (Pete) Bettura all of Youngstown, and Betty (Jay) Raschella of Austintown; one brother: Marvin (Donna) Watt of New Springfield; seven grandchildren: Dana (Lou) DeLeo of Winter Haven, FL, Gina Latessa of North Lima, Nick (Carrie) Vadino and Drew (Ashley) Hepler all of Clearwater, FL, Joe (Ricci) Bettura of Austintown, Ben Vadino and Danielle Bettura both of Youngstown; and three great grandchildren: Nicole Latessa, Dylan DeLeo, and Nicholas Vadino Jr. Besides his parents, Warren is preceded in death by a brother Gerald Watt, and his longtime companion Dolores Koshan, whom passed away in March 2006 Friends may call from 5-8 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel where a funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday.
