Wayne D. Boggs

Memorial Services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Ohltown United Methodist Church for Wayne D. Boggs age 84 of Manor West, formerly of Canfield who died Sat. eve. at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Wayne was born Jan. 31, 1918 in Austintown and was the son of Raymond and Anna (Dawson) Boggs. He had been a machinist for Taylor Winfield and then had worked for Industrial Steel. He was a member of Ohltown United Methodist Church. His first wife Mary Isabell (Moyer) Boggs died in in 1972. Wayne is survived by his second wife Alice (Sweet) Boggs whom he married Dec. 28, 1974, two daughters, JoAnn Kornberg of Virginia, Linda Boggs of Virginia, a son Dennis Boggs of Texas, two sisters, Lois Swager of Florida, Hilda Jean Sterling of Phoenix, AZ and four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Ina Harwell and a brother Glenn Boggs.. Family requests that material contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of the Church.
