BERLIN CENTER—Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church for Wilbur E. Kale of Berlin Station Rd. Berlin Center who died Sunday morning in Salem Community Hospital. Mr. Kale was born Sept. 19, 1923 in Berlin Center the son of Clyde B. and Martha (Jenkins) Kale and was a life long resident. He was a press operator for Youngstown Welding and Engineering for 23 years retiring in 1985. Mr. Kale was a member of the church, Silver Threads Sr. Citizens, K of P Lodge of North Jackson, and a WWII Army Veteran. His wife Martha M. Breit whom he married June 7, 1947, two sons Roger L.(Stormy) Kale and Robert L.(Jodi) Kale both of Berlin Center, one daughter Bonnie L.(Jim) Spencer of Lake Milton, one sister Bernice Eagle of Salem, one brother Lloyd Kale of Berlin Center and seven grandchildren survive him. Two sisters Mildred Miller and Rose Van Kirk and four brothers Herbert, Howard, Clyde and Forrest and a great grandchild Myranda Kale preceded Mr. Kale in death. Friends may call Tuesday 5-8PM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. The family requests material tributes take the form of donations to the church.
