Wilbur ''Mickey'' Frederick Beard

Wilbur (Mickey) Frederick Beard, of Austintown, Ohio, died ThanksGiving Monday, November 29th, 2004. He was born August 30, 1920, in Newton Falls, Ohio, the only son of Walter Jennings Beard, & Lois Mc Clure Beard. Mr. Beard was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, served in The Coast Guard in World War II, & retired from Republic Steel, in Warren, Ohio. Mr. Beard was a member of several clubs, & Four Mile Run Christian Church, where he served as a Deacon, an Elder, Chairman of the Board, Song Leader, & Missions' Treasurer. He married Hazel Urilla Foster Beard in 1947. Mr. Beard was a sports' enthusiast, & an avid golfer. His only son, Martin Dale Beard, died in 1999. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Beard, & his only daughter, Leslie Chain. Friends may call Friday, December 3th, from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.. Services will follow at 7:00 p.m., at Four Mile Run Church, 701 North Four Mile Run Road, Austintown, Ohio, 44515, corner of Crum Road.
