William D. Stewart

Lake Milton- Funeral services will be at 1 pm Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for William D. Stewart of Lake Milton who died Sunday morning at his residence. Mr. Stewart was born June 2, 1932 in Youngstown the son of Charles and Verdie (Stewart) Stewart and was a life long area resident. William was employed as a shear man for RMI in Niles for 30 years retiring in 1997. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed visiting wineries, big band music and most of all his cats. He attended Rayen School and was an Army Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He will be sadly missed by his wife Linda (Harkleroad) Stewart whom he married in 1984, daughter Sheryl Stewart of Youngstown, step-daughter Kendra DeNunzio of Dublin, sister Virginia Hatch of Champion, brother Charles R. Stewart of Liberty Twp., brother in- law Lee Harkleroad of Lake Milton and his grandson Corey Michael DeNunzio. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Family requests that memorial contributions take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
