William F. Hughes

NILES: William F. Hughes, age 83 of Niles, formerly of Tennessee, passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Medical Center, Main Campus, Youngstown. William was born May 3, 1931 in Tennessee to parents; Virgil and Lottie (Kelley) Hughes. William worked as a steel worker for U.S. Steel Corporation for 30 years, retiring in 1981. William enjoyed fishing, working on cars, doing yard work and loved watching NASCAR racing. Survivors include his wife: Donna Billock Hughes, Niles, Ohio, sons; Joe Hughes, Pennsylvania, Curtis Hughes, New Mexico, Kevin (Rhonda) Hughes, Champion, Ohio, Jason Hughes, Tennessee, daughters; Cindy Buchannon, Tennessee, Beverly (Clayton) Hall, Niles, Ohio, Melanie Hughes, Howland Twp., Ohio, brothers; Clay (Lois) Hughes, Dayton, Ohio, sisters; Annie (Denzel) Davis, South Carolina, Carol Adkins, Tennessee, Jennie (Ray) Buck, Tennessee, Teny Wills, Oklahoma, 18 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Preceding William in death are his parents, brothers; Bud, Carl and James Hughes, sisters; Edra Mae Frank, Creta Allen and Glenna Lowe. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 5-7pm at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Niles Chapel, Niles, Ohio. Interment will be held at Kelley Cemetery, Daysville, Tennessee.
