William J. Mikesell

Austintown- Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for William J. Mikesell of Meridian Arms Living Center formerly of Everett Street in Youngstown who died Wednesday Morning at the nursing home. Mr. Mikesell was born April 21, 1911 in Youngstown, Ohio the son of William F. and Sue (Shaffer) Mikesell. He retired in 1975 from the Erie Railroad after spending 35 years there as an engineer. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Enginemen. His wife Lorena (Fenimore) Mikesell who he married in September 1939 passed away in 1992. He leaves a daughter Barbara Rhinehart of Canfield and three sons Richard Mikesell of Boardman, William Mikesell of Hudson, Ohio and Gary Mikesell of Houston, Texas, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was proceeded in death by his sister Dolly McKay. Friends may call Friday evening 5-8 PM and one hour prior to services Saturday morning at the Funeral Home.
