William R. Longstreth

Funeral services will be 11 AM. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for William R. Longstreth age 80 of 17559 Trillium Lane, Hudson, IL formerly of Austintown and Boardman who died Wed. morning in O.S.F. St. Frances Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Bill was born May 29,, 1923 in Sturgeon, Pa. and was the son of Edwin and Margaret (Robson) Longstreth. He retired in 1978 as a machinist from Syro Steel and had previously worked for Olberg Mfg. as a machinist. He was a member of the Widow and Widowers Organization, had served in the Army during WWII and loved to garden and play cards. His wife Juniata (McKim) Longstreth preceded him in death. He is survived by a daughter Janet (Jim) Garrity of Somerset Center, MI and a son Ronald (Juanita) Longstreth of Hudson, IL., six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters Elizabeth Frazier, Gladys Martin, Margaret Sadlier, Goldie Longstreth and two brothers Edwin and Steven Longstreth. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-4 PM Sunday. Family requests that material contributions be made to the National Parkinsons Foundation.
