William T Reichart

Brookfield - William T. Reichart, 81, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon, PA. William was born on November 3, 1933 in Clairton, PA, a son of Arnold Reichart and Margaret (Eschelbacher) Reichart. He was a 1951 graduate of Brookfield High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served his country from January 12, 1953 to January 12, 1961. While serving, he earned the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He loved spending time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed going to sporting events, golfing, and spending time outside. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Jacquelyn Reichart, whom he married on April 6, 1968; his children, Margaret J. (Chip) Rumsey of Cross Plains, TN, William T. (Lisa) Reichart Jr. of Portland, TN, Jennifer L. (John) Gann of Vienna, OH, and Bo (Chastity) Reichart of Brookfield, OH; his grandchildren, William (Magan) Rumsey of Henderson, KY, Jessica (George) Keezer of Nashville, TN, Kyle Wright of Portland, TN, Adam Gann, Zach Gann, Brady Reichart who was his grandpa's best friend, Anna Reichart who was her grandpa's special chef, and Ian Reichart who was his grandpa's special assistant; his great grandchildren, Tyler Wright and Cortney Coggins; his sisters Elizabeth Kohler of Phoenix, AZ and Margaret ( Ralph) Scutillo of Warren, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and his four brothers, Arnold, Frank, Norman, and Edward Reichart. Funeral services for William will be held on Wednesday August 12, 2015 at 11:00AM at Lane Family Funeral Homes Madasz Chapel in Brookfield, OH; officiated by Pastor Dan Reichart. Family will receive friends from 4-7:00PM on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Howland Township Cemetery with full military honors.
