William Walter "Billy" Ulbricht, age 52 of Leavittsburg, died of cancer at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, October 2, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center emergency room. He was born May 14, 1958 in Warren, the son of Howard and Virginia Callahan Ulbricht Sr. Billy was a 1977 graduate of Labrae High School and was a lifetime Warren area resident. He worked many years as a mechanic for Clyde Cole Motors. He worked as a delivery truck driver for Panera Bread and Dave Shay Construction; drove for Emerine, Mays and USA Towing and drove cab for USA Taxi Company. Billy enjoyed vegetable gardening and raising cacti in his cactus garden. He was an avid dirt track race driver and had raced his own cars at Sharon Speedway. Surviving are one brother, Howard Ulbricht, Jr. of Youngstown and two nieces, Ginny and Krista Ulbricht both of Youngstown. A sister-in-law, Elaine Ulbricht and two infant brothers all have preceded him in death. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where a memorial service will follow at 8 p.m. Cremation was held and burial will be at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray the funeral expenses.
