Wilma Joy Zack

Wilma Joy Zack, age 78 of Warren, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday morning, January 27, 2011, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital from post surgical complications. She was born September 11, 1932 in Wilgus, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha Trimble Bennett. Joy was a homemaker all of her married life and enjoyed family activities, reading, gardening and tending to her flowers. She loved playing with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spending time with her toy poodle, Peaches. She attended the Warren Bible (formerly Wesleyan) Methodist Church on Elm Road. Joy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Elmer Wayne Zack, whom she married May 15, 1954; one daughter, Denise (Ron) Tucker of Warren; two sons, Myron (Mary) Zack of Warren and Paul (Sarah) Zack of Niles. She was proud of her ten grandchildren, Linda, Daniel and Michael Zack, Pamela, Lauren and Stacy Tucker all of Warren and Elyssa, Cheyenne, Tristyn and Kaidyn Zack of Niles; five great grandchildren, Justin Tucker, Jeannine, Kellie and Ashley Zack and Brandon Ford all of Warren; one sister, Arla Christine (Budd) Conner of Hillsdale, Pa. and a sister-in-law, Lucy Bennett of Glen Campbell, Pa. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Wilbur Jermone Bennett and a granddaughter, Kelly-Beth Zack. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her family, friends and neighbors. According to Joy's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no calling hours or flowers and a private memorial service will be held. A private memorial gathering and service will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Warren Bible Methodist Church, 1653 Elm Road in Warren with Pastor Daryl Muir officiating.
