Winifred A. Dettmer

There will be a funeral service 11 AM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Winifred A. Dettmer, formerly of Canfield, who passed away Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Winifred was born April 5, 1923 in Leavittsburg a daughter of the late Garfield and Eva (Smiley) Clark. A homemaker, she was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. Her husband Arnold R. Dettmer, whom she married June 13, 1953, passed away April 2, 2007. Winifred is survived by two children: Connie Jean Dettmer of Brecksville and Randy (Debbie) Dettmer of Hudson. Besides her parents and husband, Winifred is preceded in death by two sisters Teen Challenger, and Mary Beers, and one brother George Clark. Friends may call from 4 PM until 6 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
