Yvonne M Macaulay

Yvonne M. Macaulay, 76, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at University Hospital in Cleveland following a brief illness. She was born on September 26, 1940 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late, Walter and Gertrude (Husher) Casavant. Yvonne married Angus G. Macaulay on June 15, 1963. Yvonne graduated from Howland High School and went on to study at Ohio University. She retired from Howland Local Schools where she worked as a teachers aide, but her most important job was being a loving wife and mother. Yvonne is survived by her husband of 53 years, Angus G. Macaulay; son, Angus (Gina) Macaulay; daughter, Heather (Michael) Macaulay Lavelle; grandchildren, Connor Cowell, Angus G. Macaulay, Ian Lavelle, Collin Macaulay, Calean Cowell, Abbey Lavelle, Elizabeth Lavelle and Ava Lavelle; one sister, Nancy (Donald "Red") Browning; and a son-in-law, Chris Cowell. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacey Cowell and son, Chris Macaulay. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Vernon's Cafe, 720 Youngstown Warren Road, Niles, Ohio 44446, to celebrate Yvonne's life from 2:00PM-4:00PM.
