North Jackson-Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 PM Friday, November 18, 2005 in the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Zolton A. Genetta, of North Jackson, who passed away at 6:07 AM Tuesday in St. Elizabeth Medical Center from complications following open heart surgery. Zolton was 72. Zolton was born on July 9, 1933 in North Jackson, Ohio and was the son of John and Helen (Nemeth) Genetta and lived in the area all of his life. Zolton was a graduate of Jackson-Milton High School and was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Zolton retired in July of 1995 from General Motors where he worked for 22 years as a Tow Motor operator in the Fab Plant. Zolton was of the protestant faith and a member of the UAW Local #1714. He enjoyed gardening, camping, reading, traveling, walking on the beach, watching wildlife, and raising pheasants. Zolton will be sadly missed by his wife the former Rita R. Roca, whom he married on April 26, 1965 in Winchester, West Virginia; his children Suzanne M. (David) Hall of Austintown, and Kristine M. (Joe) Woods of North Jackson; a grandson Andrew D. Hall ; several nieces, nephews, a great niece and great nephews. Zolton was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Genetta, and sisters Ethel Halmagyi, and Helen Bardo. Family will receive friends from 5 until 7 PM Thursday, November 17, 2005 in the Lane Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel. Burial will take place in North Jackson Cemetery.
