POLAND-Funeral Services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Albert “Al” C. Rusnak, 73, of Poland, who passed away at 8:55 p.m. Sunday, September 3, 2006 in Austinwoods Care Center. Al was born on February 1, 1933 in Youngstown and was the only child of Albert and Mary (Steinke) Rusnak. Al was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School retired from Photogenic Machine Co. where he worked for 20 + years as a tool and die machinist. Al was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Korean War and was discharged with the rank of sergeant. Al was a member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Youngstown and was a member of the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club, the Rolls Royce Phantom Three Club, and the Citroen Club. He enjoyed restoring cars, and remote control airplanes. Al is survived by his wife of 48 years the former Janet Kloss whom he married on May 3, 1958; three children Deanna L. Holmes of Florida, Robert C. (Debbie) of Texas, and Mark P. of Poland; and five grandchildren Amanda, Joshua, Brittany, Caitlin, and Elisabeth. Visitation will be held on Tuesday (TODAY) September 5, 2006 from 5 until 7PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 3695 Boardman-Canfield Rd. Suite 301B, Canfield, Ohio 44406.
