Anna Glover of Sharon, PA, died at 1:20 PM Friday at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She was 85. Mrs. Glover was born in Herkimer, NY on January 19, 1922, a daughter of Theodore and Annastazia Worona. She is a Brookfield alumnus. Anna had many jobs through out her life. She drove an Anderson Taxi in Sharon, PA, and worked in the Automotive Department at Valley View. Her most recent job was a cook at the Masury VFW. Mrs. Glover was a member of St. John’s The Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Sharon, PA. She was very active in mother and daughter organization and made lots of pirogues through the church. She was also a member of the Maenerchor Club, belonged to numerous bowling leagues, and was a life member of the Masury post 8860 Ladies VFW. Survivors include: a daughter, Nancy Straka and her fiancé John Lees of Hubbard, OH; 2 brothers, Steve Worona of Hermitage, PA, and John Worona of Fresno, CA; 1 sister, Stella Bulick of Vienna, OH; 2 grandchildren, Nancy and her husband Russell Johnson, and John Straka; 2 great grandchildren, Russell II and Ryan Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her first husband Joseph Hallas; second husband Clair Glover; 4 brothers, Peter, Michael, Daniel, Myron Worona; 1 sister, Mary Stokey. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at 10 AM at the St. John’s The Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Sharon. Madasz Funeral Chapel handled the arrangements.
