Anthony D D'Amato

Anthony (Tony) D. D'Amato, 88, passed away Wednesday April 23, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren. He was born December 9, 1925 in Cleveland to Domenick and Maria D'Amato. He worked at the Trumbull County Treasurers office as a tax clerk, retiring in 1991. Anthony was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Warren and was a lifetime member of The Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending time with family & friends, watching sports on television and a cold beer now and then. His wife Doris preceded him in death on May 13th this past year. They were married for 65 years. He has been living in Clearview Lantern Estates assisted living in Champion since her passing. Anthony is survived by his three children Mark D'Amato of Aberdeen Md., Vincent (Stuart McBride) D'Amato of Greer SC, Lisa ( Rick Van Kirk) Haas of Warren, OH; four grandchildren Laurie, Robert, Amy, and Michelle; four great-grandchildren Christopher (Lauren Roharik), Jason, Daniel, and Joshua; and one great-great granddaughter Olivia Rae. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28 at Blessed Sacrament Church, 3020 Reeves Rd., Warren. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27 at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel Lane Family Funeral Homes in Warren. Interment will follow at All Souls Cemetery.
