Betty Jean Mikulka Youngstown-- A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday Dec. 14, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish for Betty Jean Mikulka, 80, who died on Tuesday evening at her residence. Mrs. Mikulka was born Sept. 16, 1933 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Florence (Lee) Greathouse. Betty Jean was a life long resident of Youngstown. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her church, family and friends. She was very generous of heart and spirit to her grandchildren as well as all of her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Immacualte Heart of Mary Parish as well as the senior group at the church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She leaves her husband Aloysius Mikulka whom she married on June 6, 1953, her three children Thomas (Angela) Mikulka of Canfield, Theresa (James) McCallen of Hubbard and Mark (Lisa) Mikulka of Virginia Beach, VA, her grandchildren Evan (Jeannie), Alexander and Elizabeth Mikulka, Scott (Jennifer) McCallen and Marie McCallen, Mark David (Lori) Mikulka and Dale, Glenn and Adam Mikulka, her great grandsons Zachary, Joshua and Kaleb Mikulka as well as her siblings William (Nancy) Greathouse, Richard (Lois) Greathouse, Maryann Stamp, Roger (Jean) Greathouse, Carol (Gary) Kibler, Daniel (Cindy) Greathouse and Doris (David) Schertzer. She was preceeded in death by her sister Marjorie Lytle, her nephew Ronald Howell and uncle and aunt Ray and Virginia Lee. Friends may call Friday from 4-7pm at Lane Family Funeral Homes Austintown.
