BROOKFIELD-A Funeral Service will be held at 10AM Saturday, March 14, 2009 in the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel, Brookfield for Betty Lou Kruppa, 69 who passed away at 11:30PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 in her winter home in Cape Coral Florida. Betty Lou was born August 2, 1939 in Youngstown the daughter of the late David J. and Martha (Price) Williams. Betty Lou retired after 30 years with Packard Electric. Betty Lou was a member of the Redbook Boat Club and the Conneaut Boat Club and was an avid boater. Betty Lou was married on July 27, 1962 in St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Youngstown to John W. Kruppa and he survives. She is also survived by two sisters June L. Balint of Austintown and Marilyn J. (Martin) Markovich of Austintown; two brothers-in-laws Howard Crum of Austintown and Victor Kruppa of Cortland; a sister-in-law Mary Ann (Joe) Passisfume of Huron; four nieces Nancy, Patty, Judie and Linda; one nephew Howard; and by several great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents, Betty Lou was preceded in death by a sister Louise Crum and a brother William Williams. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 from 4 until 7 PM in the Lane Funeral Homes, Madasz Chapel. Burial will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
