Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday in the Canfield Methodist Church for Beulah Gusbeth who died Wednesday afternoon. Beulah was born July 3, 1917 in North Jackson the daughter of Perry and Ruby (Leonard) Rhodes and was a life long area resident. She was a member of the church, a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, Canfield Rebekah Lodge #719,Canfield American Legion Auxiliary unit #0177, Ellsworth VFW Auxiliary, was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, sold poppies and made neighborhood collections for various charities and was a graduate of North Jackson High School. She also was a volunteer at the election polls for many years. Beulah is survived by her daughters Linda (Ken) Kiecolt of Highland CA., Wilma (Jim) Weingart with whom she made her home in Boardman, one brother Norman Rhodes of Ellsworth, three grandchildren; Cindy (Charlie) Sample, Tom (Sandy) Peek all of CA., Jason Good of Boardman and three great grandchildren; Amanda Nixon, Skylar and Colton Peek. She was preceded in death by her husband William J.J. Gusbeth whom she married May 11, 1927 died April 5, 2001 and an infant sister. Family and friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel and one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church. The family requests that Memorial Tributes take the form of donations to the church or Hospice of the Valley.
