Beverly Jane Riggs

Beverly Jane Proudfoot Riggs, age 89 of Cortland, passed away on July 24, 2023. She was born on June 13, 1934, in Wyatt, WV to the late Kermit and Ruth Nutter Proudfoot, she was also preceded by her sisters, Ruth L. Snow, Dortha A. Lamb, and Cynthia S. Matthews. She was a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, oil and watercolor painting, and working crossword puzzles. She is survived by her a son and daughter-in-law, Terence, and Kathy England; grandchildren, Cara, Justin, and Jennifer England; daughter, Lori Overton; grandchildren, Nathan, and Michael Overton; sister, Margie M. Moy, several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. There are no services scheduled at this time according to her wishes.
