Bonnelyn Mead

POWELL Bonnelyn Mead, 93, died on Monday, Feb. 17, 2014. Bonnelyn was born in Youngstown and graduated in 1943 from the Youngstown Hospital School of Nursing. She obtained her BSN from Youngstown State University. Bonnelyn was a school nurse for the Boardman Local School System for over 25 years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of the Youngstown Trinity United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Mead Sr.; son, Robert Mead Jr.; daughter, Barbara Mead Blumenschein; and brother, Paul Markstrom. She is survived by daughters, Paula (Douglas) Finnie and Bonlyn (George) Wheeling; son-in-law, Robert Blumenschein; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Feb. 22, 2014, at 1:30 p.m., with calling hours starting at noon at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave., Boardman, OH, 44512. Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, P.O.
