Cassandra J. "Sandy" Domenick

Cassandra J. “Sandy” Domenick, 83, of Mineral Ridge, died Wednesday morning, July 17th at the Hospice House in Poland.

Born April 7, 1941 in Wellsville, Ohio, Sandy was the daughter of Paul and Phyllis (Alton) Nelson.

Sandy was a 1958 graduate of Wellsville High School and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Youngstown State University, Dana School of Music. She was a private music teacher prior to her retirement.

She loved BINGO, putting puzzles together, traveling with her husband to Las Vegas, and most importantly spending time with family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew Domenick, who she married June 8, 1963 and he died January 18, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her son Andrew, her daughter Michelle, and her good friend John Gagyi.

She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Dallas) Gombash, her brother Edward (Kathy) Nelson, and her step-grandchildren, Dallas Gombash III, Jessica (Brad) Logan, Breanna Gombash, and Austin (Christina) Gombash.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, July 26th, at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel from 2:00-3:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. To share thoughts of sympathy, visit lanefuneralhomes.com.
