Youngstown- Funeral services will be held 8 PM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Charles Armes Sr., age 51 of Youngstown who died Wednesday evening in St. Elizabeth Emergency Room. Chuck was born Aug. 23, 1958 in Youngstown and was the son of the late James and Hazel (Wiseman) Armes. He had formerly worked as a supervisor for American Architectual Products (Forte Mfg.) Chuck was known as a very giving and loving person to his family and friends. He had coached baseball for the Mill Creek Baseball League, coached football for the Fighting Little Redmen, played baseball for Forte, loved motorcycles, was an avid bowler and was know as Mr. Fix-it to his family and friends. He was a member of the American Legion in Youngstown. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Sandy Guy whom he married April 16, 1977. He leaves three children, Charles P. Armes, Jr., of Las Vegas, Robert (Rhonda) Armes of Youngstown, Susan (T.J) McCarthy of Youngstown, two sisters Nancy (Dave) Reed and Donna (Dave) Reed both of Arizona, four brothers, James (Joann) Armes and Joseph Armes both of Youngstown, Gary (Linda) Armes and David (Candy) Armes both of Arizona. He also leaves six grandchildren, Lauren, Liyah, Victoria, Cailynn, Ryan and Darrin. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law George Guy. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Wed.
