Clyde Rowan Goff

d. April 23, 1933

Clyde R. Goff of 5041 Pin Oak Dr., Vienna, died at 6:14 PM Wednesday at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was 70. Mr. Goff was born in Coalton, WV on April 23, 1933, a son of Everett C. and Bertha Rowan Goff. He served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Goff was a Shutter Operator of Packard Electric for 28 years. He retired in 1991. His memberships included the Moose Lodge of Cortland, AMVETS in Vienna, American Legion, and many other various organizations. Besides his organization he also loved to hunt, fish, camping, traveling, and watching NASCAR. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. His wife Nancy Sampson Goff, whom he married, June 19, 1960. Survivors include: His wife, Nancy Sampson Goff; 1 son, Jeffry and his wife Gail Goff, Vienna, OH; 1 brother, Lewis E. Goff, Ellamore, WV; 1 sister, Marie Temple, Elyria, OH; 2 Grandchildren, Mitchell Lee Goff, and Jonathan Lee Goff. He was preceded in death by: his parents; 4 brothers, Kenneth, Jimmy, Robert, and Sterling Goff. Calling hours will be from 4-7 PM Saturday. Burial will be in Arbovale Cemetery, Arbovale, WV.
