Daniel L. Hageman

Daniel L. Hageman, 69 of Salem died early Thursday morning, September 26, 2024 at his residence. He was born November 3, 1954 in Youngstown, a son of the late Fred and Alice (Davis) Hageman and was a lifelong area resident. 

Daniel graduated from Chaney High School in 1972 and went on to serve in the United States Navy. He had been a Youngstown Police Officer for 16 years until he retired. Daniel was an avid bowler, belonging to several leagues and bowling sometimes four days a week. He was a drag racer and enjoyed taking his boat out to Lake Milton and Berlin Lake.

He leaves his wife of over 40 years, the former Susan Lynn Davison, whom he married December 16, 1982 and his son, Daniel L. Hageman, II. There will be no services per Daniel’s request. The family would like to thank Akeso Hospice for their loving care given to Daniel.
