Darlene Faye Shaffer

Darlene Faye Shaffer (Kokoski), 80, of Lake Milton, passed away on November 18 th , 2024, at Austintown Healthcare Center. She was born on October 2 nd , 1944, in Youngstown, Ohio to the late Anthony “Tony” Kokoski and Geraldine Faye (Smith) Kokoski. She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and went on to work at Tod Children’s Hospital as an Office Manager for 40+ years.

Darlene married her husband, Ronald Shaffer, on March 14 th , 1975, and they went on to spend almost 50 years together, creating a life of memories. She enjoyed many interests such as going to the casino, bingo, reading and crocheting.

Darlene leaves to carry on her memory her husband, her siblings; John Kokoski, Richard Kokoski, and Jerry Kokoski, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, as well as two siblings: Cecelia Repp and Kenneth Kokoski.

There will be no services per the wishes of the family.
