Donna J. Hodgkinson

Donna J. Hodgkinson,92, passed away Thursday evening, May 23^rd at Liberty Healthcare Center. Donna was born February 10, 1932 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Howard J. and Josephine (Wiggett) Coles and was a lifelong area resident.

 Donna had worked as a press operator for Packard Electric/Delphi for 30 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member of Evansville Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed cooking and baking and according to the family, she made the best brownies and coffee cake. Most important to Donna was her family and looked forward to spending time with them. 

Her husband, Robert J. Hodgkinson, whom she married March 3, 1951, preceded her in death on March 11, 2014. She leaves her son, Allen (Regina) Hodgkinson of Lake Milton; a daughter, Marsha Rae (Pastor James) Turner of Greenville, Georgia; six grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren and one on the way.  Besides her parents and her husband, Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Shilling and three brothers, Clarence Coles, Maynard Coles and Richard Coles. Private services will be held for the family. 

The family requests material tributes take the form of contributions to the donor’s favorite charity.
