Dorothy M. Dalrymple

Warren – Dorothy M. Dalrymple, 95, passed away Thursday morning, July 4, 2024 at her residence. 

Dorothy was born on June 4, 1929 in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Frank and Coletta Moran. 

She was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School and continued her education receiving a bachelor's degree from Kent State University in education. She became a teacher at Horace Mann Elementary and taught for 30 years. 

She was an active and supportive member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in Warren. She also enjoyed swimming at Avalon. 

Dorothy is survived by her stepchildren, Douglas, Steven, and Charles Dalrymple, and Mary M. Patrick; sister Suzanne Moran; and many nieces and nephews. 

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carl Dalrymple, whom she married on June 24, 1969; siblings, Margaret Logan, Betty Lou Weston, Salli Moran, Frank Moran, Charles Moran, Robert Moran, Martin Moran, and Colette Dispenza.

Funeral Mass will take place at 11:00am on Monday July 22, 2024 at St, Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. James church located at 2532 Burton St. SE in Warren.
