Edgar W. Lynn

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 11:00 AM at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Edgar W. Lynn, formerly of Canfield, who passed away on Sunday at Salem Community Hospital. Edgar was born June 11, 1915 in Canfield, the son of Homer and Elvada (Hendricks) Lynn. Before moving out west in 1962, he was the part owner of an Auto Service Repair business with Robert Yoder of Canfield and retired from the Solar Turbine Corporation of San Diego in 1982. He was also a member of the Canfield United Methodist Church. Edgar is survived by his two stepdaughters: Linda (David) Bungard of Salem, and MaryDee (Thomas) Witkowski of Michigan. Three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a niece in Texas also survive. Mr. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife, the former June E. Jones, who he married February 14, 1962 and passed away on October 27, 2001. Two brothers: Arthur and Raymond Lynn, as well as a sister Marie Fosnaught are also deceased.
