Florence V. Bealer

Florence V. (Stansel) Bealer, age 92, of Cortland, Ohio, died Monday, August 21, 2006, at 2:59 at Concord Care Center in Fowler, Ohio. She was born on March 20, 1914 in Gueydan, Louisiana., the daughter of the late Bert Stansel and the late Ella Duplantis Stansel. A lifetime resident of Louisiana, Florence spent most of her life working as a home maker. Her husband of 51 years, Quinton Bealer, whom she married on September 9, 1936., preceded her in death on October 24, 1987. Mrs. Bealer was a member of the Elton United Methodist Church in Louisiana, as well as the Order of Eastern Star, Holly Chapter #90/Jennings Chapter #9. A very active woman, Florence had traveled much of the world and had lived a very full life. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Bealer of Pocatello, Idaho and two sons, David H. (Linda) Bealer of Cortland, OH., and John Q. (Ann) Bealer of Junction City, Arkansas. Also surviving are six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Bealer was preceded in death by her husband Quinton, two sisters and three brothers. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
