The Rev. Charles W.Crumbley, 76, formerly of Warren, went home to be with the Lord, on December 17, 2016 at 6:35pm, at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles, surrounded by his loved ones. Fr. Crumbley was born on November 30, 1940, in Wellsville, OH., a son of the late Raymond P. and Edna G. (Russ) Crumbley Sr. Fr. Crumbley dedicated his life to the Lord, graduating from Mount St. Mary Seminary School, in Cincinnati. He served as Priest from 1967 until his retirement in 2011, for St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. James worship site, St. Patrick's Church in Hubbard, and St. Williams Church in Champion. He also served as the Chaplin for the Warren Police Department, and sat on the board for Children services, for several years. He spent his life serving God and doing good for others. He will be sadly missed by his church congregation, and a niece Cindy and William Rek, of Warren, Ohio. Fr. Crumbley was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Rutledge and a brother Raymond P. Crumbley Jr. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, St. James Worship Site, 2532 Burton St. SE Warren, with Bishop George V. Murry officiating. Family and friends may call Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 4-8 pm at St. James worship site and one hour prior to the mass on Wednesday. Private interment will take place in Fr. Crumbley's home town of Wellsville Ohio. Memorial contributions can take form in Father's name to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Restoration Fund. Care was entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel.
