Genevieve Bowden

Genevieve W. Bowden, 85, formerly of Champion Township died 3:10 AM Thursday Dec.13, 2007 at The Haven Nursing Home in New Castle, PA. She was born June 12, 1922 in Mercer Co., PA the daughter of Hiram and Marie (Whenry) Hedglin. A licensed beautician, she operated a beauty salon in her home for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Richard E. Bowden whom she married Nov.25, 1941 and 2 sons Richard and Dennis Bowden. Surviving are 2 grandchildren Sherry and Scott Bowden. She was a caring homemaker and was very artistic enjoying painting and sewing. The family will receive friends on Sat. Dec.15, 2007 at Roberts-Clark Chapel from 2-4PM. Interment will be in Champion Twp. Cemetery.
