Gwendolyn Mae Davis, 68, of Youngstown passed away early Monday morning, October 7, 2024 at Hospice House of Poland. 

Gwendolyn was born March 5, 1956 in Warren, a daughter of the late Dean Lamar and Ruth (Shotts) McMahan and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated in 1974 from Austintown Fitch High School and had worked at various steel mills in the area for 33 years. She also worked at the Hollywood Racino for 7 years. 

She enjoyed crocheting and made many afghans for friends and family. 

She leaves her husband of 50 years, Bruce Davis, whom she married September 19, 1974; two sons, Mark A, (Nicole) Davis of St. Maarten, Charles L. (Lacy) Davis of Austintown; five grandchildren, Lucas, Noelle, Tyler, Fiona and Zachary. Gwendolyn also leaves her sister, Jacqui Nolder of Austintown and a brother, Drew McMahan, of Campbell. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lynette Cunningham. 

There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, October 27th at 3:30 pm at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel, where friends may call for one half hour prior to the service.
