Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday at Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Harley A. Britton Sr., who passed away Sunday at Liberty Health Care. Harley was born March 28, 1933 in Youngstown a son of the late William and Lucy Belle (Williams) Britton. A veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea, he retired in 1996 from Hamilton Lock and Key as a locksmith. He was a member of the former Vienna Baptist Church, enjoyed playing cards and games and spending time with his family. Harley is survived by his second wife the former Barbara Dornshuld whom he married February 25, 1995; his six children: Annette Shook of TX, Harley Britton Jr. of NC, John Britton of TX, Cindy Richardson of OK, Bill Britton of TX and Kenny Britton of IN; two step sons: James Wagner and Christopher Wagner both of MN; one sister Luella Walls of Hubbard; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Harley is preceded in death by his parents, first wife of 32 years the former Marietta Sansota; and 11 sisters and brothers. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the services Thursday at the funeral home.
