Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, September 1st, at the Lane Funeral Homes Austintown Chapel for Harold T. Ray, Jr. of 1755 McCollum Rd. in Youngstown who passed away on Wenesday morning at Forum Northside Hospital. Mr. Ray was born November 24, 1924 in Youngstown the son of Harold T. and Dorothy (Hunt) Ray. Harold was the owner operator of Mahoning Auto Body for 35 years and was then a body man at Youngstown Kenworth. A WWII Army veteran serving in the European Theatre, Harold was a member of the VFW # 09947. Mr. Ray leaves his wife Edith (Marshall) Ray whom he married October 30, 1948 and 3 children; Sharon Roth of Austintown, Larry Ray of Youngstown, and Terry Ray of Youngstown. He also leaves a sister Dorothy Garstka of Austintown, and 2 brothers; Frank Ray of Austintown, and John Ray of Canfield, as well as 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Thomas Ray. Friends may call from 1-3 PM, two hours prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
