Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at the Gibson Heights Second Presbyterian Church for Harry S. Creighton who passed away on Tuesday morning at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers. Harry was born March 16, 1918 in Bellaire Ohio the son of Harry and Ella Creighton. He was a laborer at LTV (formerly Republic) Steel in Youngstown. Harry was a member of Gibson Heights Second Presbyterian Church. Besides his wife, the former Katheryn Callison whom he married February 9, 1946, Harry leaves six children: Harry Creighton of North Lima, Kay and her husband Dennis Sedlacko of Hartville, James and his wife Cheryl Creighton of North Jackson, Shirley and her husband Frank Miranda of Salem, Jean and her husband Leon Friend of Wellsville, and William and his wife Tammy Creighton of Struthers. Harry also leaves two sisters: Jane Dahman of Austintown and Sarah Lutz of New Wilmington Pennsylvania. Eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive. Harry was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Raymond Creighton as well as two sisters: Mae Girts and Laura Schnell. Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, one hour prior to the services in the church on Friday. Arrangements are by the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel.
