Helen Belko, age 75 of Howland, Ohio, passed away and went to be with her Lord on Good Friday, March 29, 2013 at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was born on April 18, 1937 in Newton Falls, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Cuprick Zimomra. Mrs. Belko was a 1955 graduate of Newton Falls High School and a homemaker. She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and cooking. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Other than her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her son, John Belko, her son-in-law, William Burke, and her four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her loving husband, Fred Belko, Sr., whom she married on February 1, 1958; three children, Stephen (Connie) Belko of Champion, Kathy Burke of Niles, and Fred (Donna) Belko, Jr. of Hermitage, PA; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Belko of Tipp City, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jessica (Dan) Ciufi, Melissa (Dan) Vodhanel, Stephanie, Kristen, Craig, and Zander Belko; one step-grandchild, Arie Curtiss; three great-grandchildren, Norah Ciufi, Dominic Gottuso, and Connor Vodhanel; and one step-great-grandchild, Ember. Her sister, Sandra Gretton of Mesa, AZ also survives. Funeral services will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel at 6 PM, Wednesday, April 3, 2013 where family and friends may gather from 4-6 PM.
