Herman Everett Obermiyer

Herman Everett Obermiyer, 59, of Mineral Ridge passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2011 at his home of natural causes. Born February 11, 1952 in Sharon, PA, Herman was the son of the late Frank J. and Margaret L. (Miller) Obermiyer Sr. Herman was lifetime resident of Trumbull County. He loved to fly and enjoyed taking flights with his father. Herman even took a solo flight once. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved to fish, enjoyed building and flying radio controlled airplanes and attended the Brookfield Methodist church. Herman is survived by his sister Florence (Jeffrey) Bondor of Girard and nephews and niece Craig (April) Bondor, Kelley (Clay) Bondor-Carr, and Adam Bondor. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Frank J. Obermiyer Jr. Family and friends will be welcomed Sunday afternoon, October 23, 2011 from 1 until 3 P.M. at the Madasz Funeral Chapel. The Rev. William Johnson will conduct a funeral service Sunday at 3 P.M. at the funeral home. Herman will be buried beside his parents and brother in the Brookfield Township Cemetery. Material contributions may be made in Herman's memory to the Youngstown Developmental Center where a fund has been established in Herman's name to benefit residents of the Center.
