James C. Foster

Warren – James C. “Jim” Foster, 61, passed away Sunday evening May 26, 2024 at Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center in Akron. 

James was born on March 29, 1963 in Warren, OH a son of the late James and Margaret (Bitner) Foster. 

He was a 1981 graduate of Howland High School and continued his education receiving his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Youngstown State University. He was a Chief Lending Officer at Century Federal Credit Union in Cleveland. He was a member and Lieutenant of the Howland Township Fire Department. In his free time, he enjoyed wood working, restoring historic cars, and spending time with his family. 

James will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Kimberly Foster, whom he married in 2005; son, Tyler Foster; stepchildren, Whitney (Mickie) Jackson, Gavin (Danielle) Zenner, and Justin Zenner; grandchildren, Tarek Lunders, Tennyson Lunders, Justus Jackson, Caydence Zenner, and Lane Zenner; brother, Jeffrey (Kelly) Foster; and cousin Stephen Foster. 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 

A memorial service will take place at 4:00PM on Friday May 31, 2024 at Lane Family Funeral Homes Roberts-Clark Chapel located at 180 Garfield Dr. NE in Warren. Following the service, family and friends may visit until 6:00PM at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Howland Volunteer Fire Department or Justin T. Rogers Hospice Care Center located at 3358 Ridgewood Road Akron, OH 44333.
