JAMES J. REGANO, 87 CANFIELD-There will be prayers at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Family Funeral Homes-Anstrom Chapel, 8387 Tod Ave. in Boardman followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Christine's Church, for James J. Regano, 87, who died Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Mr. Regano was born August 22, 1926 in Youngstown, a son of Joseph and Anne Petrony Regano. Jim was of the Catholic Faith. He was a 1945 graduate of South High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Jim was a partner and salesman with Independent Motors. He also was a salesman for O'Connor's Motors. Jim owned and operated the Purple Heart Club and was a member of the R.O.E.B. Club. Jim is survived by his brother Richard Regano; his sister, Agnes Baker; his niece, Carol E. Baker, all of Canfield and two nephews, Joseph (Sandy) Regano of Mentor and Dennis (Penny) Regano of Solon. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Anthony and Samuel Regano. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, James, who never left his brother, Joseph's side.
