Joan A. Burns

Joan Bradian Burns, 82, formerly of Masury, OH passed away peacefully Sunday March 31, 2024. 

She was a 1959 Sharon High School graduate. She was a devoted homemaker and loving matriarch to her family. 

Joan enjoyed spending time with her seven children, 13 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. 

Surviving are sons, John (Debbie) Burns Jr. of Bradenton, FL., Mark (Missy) Burns of Bradenton, FL, Donald (Regis) Burns of Parrish, FL; daughters, Joan (Dave) Evilsiserof North Port, FL, Dianne (Keith) Wareham of Masury, OH, and Sarah (Tim) Sydlowsky of Brookfield, OH; sister Gloria (Jim) Riebe of Niles, OH; brother-in-law Bill McFarland of Brookfield, OH; and special cousin John Doug (Roberta) Negrea of West Middlesex, PA. In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was grateful for her lifelong friendship with Elanor Yudt, her best friend. 

Besides her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her John P. Burns, the love of her life; her son, Theodore Jospeh Burns; two sisters; and three brothers. Her memory will always be cherished. 

Family and friends may visit from 10-11:30AM on Saturday April 6, 2024 at Lane Family Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel, located at 6923 Warren Sharon Rd. in Brookfield. A Service will follow at 12:00PM at St. Mary’s Cemetery Chapel in Hermitage.
