John Dragan

John Dragan, age 93, of Warren passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1930, in Warren to the late Stefan and Mary Pawlak Dragan. 

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and companion who will be deeply missed. He enjoyed spending time dancing, polka, and ballroom dancing were his favorite. He was an avid sports fan and a skilled baseball player who was a prospect of the Chicago Cubs until he went to serve his country in Korea. He was a Korean war veteran serving his country proudly in the Navy, and also a member of the American Legion Post 299 in Sharon, PA. 

He is survived by his daughter, Linda Cartwright (Brian Milne); granddaughter, Morgan Cartwright; companion, Helen Cavazza; stepchildren, Janet (Lloyd) Johnson, and Melanie (John) Carrier and many other extended family members. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Dragan; parents; sisters, Pearl Lane, and Ann Raznoff; brothers, Paul Dragan, and Peter Dragan. 

Calling hours will be held 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM Monday, February 19, 2024, at Crown Hill Burial Park 3966 Warren - Sharon Rd, Vienna, OH 44473 with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM.
