Judith “Judy” Ann Sutton passed away peacefully Monday, October 2, 2023, at Hospice House after months long illness. Judy was born April 1, 1960, in Johnstown, PA; the youngest child of the late Arthur and Ruby
(Roser) Sensebaugh. She was a graduate of Penns Manor High School, Clymer, PA and Choffin School of
Practical Nursing Program, Youngstown, OH. Judy worked at various nursing homes in the Youngstown
area during her career and was a kind and caring nurse to loved ones. She was a member of Smith
Corners United Methodist Church, Austintown, OH and involved with the church’s monthly “Supper at
the Corner” community fellowship. Judy was also a talented artist and turned to jewelry making in most
recent years selling and sharing her work.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Mark “Mick” Sutton whom she deeply mourned
these past seven years. She is survived by her brothers Paul (Barb) Sensebaugh of Reynoldsville, PA; Ron
Sensebaugh of Homer City, PA; her sister Mary Sensebaugh of Pittsburgh, PA; four nephews: Jake
(Missy), Ben (Tina), Josh (Jean), Steve (Kari) and niece Amy (Bill) Spaid along with six great nephews and
two great nieces. She is survived by her brothers-in-law Bill (Sharron) Sutton of Austintown, OH and
Rick (Bonnie) Sutton of Niles, OH; three nephews: Kory, Keith, Kris (Melissa) and two nieces: Kathy
(Bobby) Johnson and Karen (Rich) Wildes along with one great nephew and three great nieces; two
great-great nephews and one great-great niece. We will all miss her greatly. Judy will be deeply missed
by her cousins and many beloved friends.
A celebration of Judy will be held on Saturday, November 4th 12:30PM at Smith Corners United
Methodist Church, 3000 S. Canfield Niles Road, Austintown, OH 44515. In lieu of flowers, material contributions may be made in memory of Judy to Smith Corners United Methodist Church or Hospice House, 9803
