Julia "Julie" Elizabeth Rostis Painter

Julia “Julie” Elizabeth Rostis Painter, 78, of Niles, Ohio passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, Warren, Ohio.

Born October 27, 1945, in Indiana, PA she was the daughter of John and Jane (Lewis) Rostis. 

She was a 1963 graduate of Elders Ridge High School. She married the love of her life, Arthur Painter, August 17, 1963. They were the parents of a son John, of Niles, Ohio and a daughter Cyntina “Tina” Korpon; grandchildren, Tony (Chrissy) Chester, Cleveland, Ohio, Jeremy (Jaclyn) Streitferdt, Austintown, Ohio, Sarah Prater, Colorado, Zac (Alexis) Painter, Girard, Ohio, Cayley (Zack) Bowers, Kernersville, NC; great-grandchildren, Ayden and Nolan Streitferdt, Austintown, Ohio and Kai Painter, Girard, Ohio; sister, Donna (Joe) Rethi, Indiana, PA; and brother, David (Dianna) Rostis, Indiana, Pa. She is also survived by several nephews and nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and daughter Cyntina.

Greatest time of her life was spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who all called her “Mom Mom”. Another enjoyment was playing Texas Holdem with family and friends.

She worked for many years at Warren General Hospital, Warren, Ohio. She most recently was employed by Dr. David D’Amore, Brookfield, Ohio.
