Kathleen Ann Pontius

Kathleen Pontius, 63, of Youngstown, was received into the care of the Lord on June 12,2024 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 12,1961 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late James Ditata and Kathryn (Dignam) Ditata.

Kathleen was a 1979 graduate of Austintown Fitch and she went on to work at Wedgewood Pizza where she spent over 20 years. She was a member of Christian Assembly Church, a woman of strong faith, but most important to her was spending time with her family and her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her 3 sons; Josh (Erica) Pontius, Kevin (Jenna) Pontius, Brett Pontius; a daughter, Kathryn Pontius; Six grandchildren, Sadie, Maximus, Micaiah, Finley, Everly, Selah; and a brother, Jim (Sharon) Ditata.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends and family may call from 11am to 1pm, with a memorial service to follow at 1pm at Christian Assembly Church, 5050 South Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44512 on Saturday June 15^th.
