Kay Frances Amato, 77, of Niles, passed away February 24, 2014 at the Hospice House in Poland. Kay was born November 24, 1936 in Warren, daughter of Warren and Ella (Armstrong) Williams She was a 1954 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, and was an avid mall walker and shopper. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her 500 club. She was a member of the former St. James Catholic Church in Warren. Kay is survived by her three children, Gayle (Dave) Hatton of Manhattan Beach, CA, Jim Amato of Warren and Christine (John) Costianes of Champion; five grandchildren, Aaron, Carrie Ann and David Killen and Nicholas and Joseph Costianes; one great grandson, Daven Sierra and a brother Richard Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband James Vincent Amato in 2007 and her daughter Cindy Amato. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6-8 PM at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. Warren, OH 44483. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Thursday at the Christ Episcopal Church 2627 Atlantic St. Warren, OH. Interment will follow in All Souls Cemetery in Cortland. Memorial may be made in lieu of flowers to the Hospice House 9803 Sharrott Rd. Poland, OH 44514.
