Cortland – Kenneth D. Fenton, 83, passed away Monday morning, August 12, 2024 at Trumbull Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth was born on July 31, 1941 in Warren, OH, a son of the late Jesse Fenton and Emma Cofer. He was a graduate of Lakeview High School and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He worked as a Aircraft Maintenance Technician at the Youngstown Air Force Base. He was a member of the Warren First Nazarene Church.
He enjoyed roller skating at the Cortland Roller Rink, playing cards and horseshoes. He also was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
Kenneth will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Dorothy Fenton, whom he married in 1965; children, Allen Fenton, Angela Mercandino, and Steven (Sandra) Fenton; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother Bob (Cindy) Fenton.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Gene Fenton and sister, Arlene Buran.
Per Kenneth’s wishes, there are no calling hours or services. After cremation, there will be a private graveside service at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Warren First Nazarene Church in Warren, located at 4179 Parkman Road NW 44481
